The artwork “Connect, Inspire and Empower” depicts a visual representation of the Women’s Wellbeing Conference which was used on all conference collaterals. At the centre of the artwork is the Women’s Wellbeing Conference proudly supported by Wilson Security and hosted by KARI. Branching off the centre are the core focus areas of the conference Culture, Health, Wellbeing, Support Services and Advocacy, Legal Advice, Financial Counselling, Employment and Self-development Opportunities. The yarning circles at the outer edge of the artwork represent the safe space for women to be able to share in the knowledge of their sisters and be empowered through the various sessions making an investment in themselves and their future. In the background of the artwork features the women from across the region that will attend the Women’s Wellbeing Conference. Being able to connect after such a long time is very important and through this event women will be able to equip themselves with the information, strategies and tools they need to feel more motivated to be advocates for change within their own local communities. It’s time to “Connect, Inspire and Empower”.
