The “Healing Together” artwork is a visual representation of the holistic collaboration of South Western Sydney Local Health (SWSLHD) working in partnership with key community partners, agencies and local Aboriginal organisations to improve better health outcomes for the local Aboriginal community. The colours applied within the artwork compliment the Living Library branding. Each element within the artwork has significant meaning, blending to form the overall artwork story.
The artwork was developed to brand the Aboriginal Living Library to help promote awareness to Mental Health Services in the South West Sydney region. SWSLHD were so impressed with the artwork that it was incorporated into the new Vaccination clinic at Glenquarie and was powerful in promoting vaccinations to the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and wider community.
